She was born to John and Helen (nee Gruver) Raisor in Lafayette, IN on February 7, 1934. She was a graduate of the class of 1952, Dayton High School, Dayton, IN. Margie married the love of her life, Paul, on April 28, 1962. Her 38 years of work in the propane industry allowed them to travel extensively and live in many places throughout the country. They retired in 1997 to Woodstock, GA.
She is survived by her daughter, Julie (Dan) Lachowyn of Vermilion, OH; granddaughter, Sara (James) Sharpe of Cincinnati, OH; grandson, Nicholas Lachowyn of Vermilion OH; sister, Dianne (Jan) Royer of Rockwood, TN; brothers, George "Skip" (Fran) Raisor of Morton, IL and Mike (Marcia) Raisor of Lafayette, IN; and her sister-in-law, Marilyn Raisor of Roper, NC.
Her husband Paul Pullen preceded her in death on Nov. 1, 2008 and was missed every day. She was also preceded in death by her parents, brother, Jack Raisor; and step-sons, Anthony and Edward Pullen.
Margie loved dogs, listening to music, and tending to her flowers and bird sanctuary. She was an energetic, fun-loving grandma, who was always up for an adventure. Children in Woodstock, GA whom whe nurtured during Paul's lengthy illness, fondly remember her. Their home was the neighborhood hangout for many children.
She requested her body be cremated and asked that no services be held. Her ashes will join with her husband Paul's ashes, and scattered in Door County, Wisconsin by her daughter and grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Stien Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
