Obituary of William Miller

William C. "Moose" Miller, 79, of Vermilion, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Mercy New Life Hospice following a lengthy illness.

Bill was born May 13, 1939 in New Kensington, PA and had lived in Vermilion for the past 50 plus years.

He was a veteran of the US Navy.

Bill retired from Ford Motor Co as a semi truck driver.

He was a life member of Fish and Game, AMVETS Post #22, VFW Post # 7576, American Legion Post # 397 where he served as a past commander, and was Boy Scout leader for 16 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, working in his yard, watching football, especially Ohio State, the Cleveland Browns, and the Pittsburgh Steelers, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Darlene (nee Villa) Miller; sons, William Miller of MO and Christopher Miller of KY; step daughters, Michelle Fellenstein of TX and Becky Fellenstein of Cleveland; 9 grandchildren; one great-grandson; sister, Georgia (Ray) Bracken; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patricia Ann Miller; parents, George and Dorothy (nee Roberts) Miller; step mother, Edith Miller; sister, Penny Phelps; and brothers, Dick and Dennis Miller.

Graveside services will be held at a later date.
