Barbara A. West-Feiszli, 71, of Vermilion, died Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Ames Family Hospice House after a lengthy illness.
She was born October 16, 1946 in Lorain and had been a life long Vermilion resident.
Barbara worked in customer service for Ohio Edison for 20 years. She had also worked for attorney Martinek and Wright Patterson Air Force Base.
She was an active member of the Vermilion Harbourtown Community Church since 1972. She was also a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Lorain; Moose Lodge; Croatian Club, Lorain; Main Street Art Guild, Vermilion; and a former member of the Archival Society in Vermilion. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, photography, antiques, and motorcycling.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Glenn Feiszli of Vermilion; daughter, Lisa Lynn Lambert-Bivins of Wakeman; step daughters, Amanda Donnithorne of Sandusky and Debra Huskey of Elyria; step son, Johnny LeMasters of Seattle; 3 grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren; 1 great grandson, several step great grandchildren; and her brother, Lindy (Sandra) West of Amherst.
She was preceded in death by her; parents, Lynford Orlo and Dorothy (nee Kyle) West; her son, Darren Lee West in 2015; and her nephew, Shane West.
Graveside services will be held Monday, July 16, 2018 at 11:00 am at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion. Pastor Heidi Strickler and Rev. Jim Cooper will co-officiate.
