Obituary of Christopher Lee Eldridge
Christopher Lee Eldridge, 42, of Rincon, GA and Connecticut, passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018 in an airplane accident.
Chris was born December 18, 1975 in Amherst, OH. He was a 1994 Keystone High School graduate and also a graduate of Roger Williams University. He was employed with GP Strategies as a Learning Solutions Manager.
He loved golf, judo, wrestling and being a fan of The Columbus Blue Jackets, Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland Indians, and the Cleveland Browns. Chris had served his country in the National Guard and the US Navy.
He is survived by his partner, Sarah Thompson; his daughters, Caitlyn Kowalker-Eldridge, Chloe Kowalker-Eldridge, and Phoebe Eldridge; parents, Denny and Bonnie Eldridge, and Susan Caponera; grandmother; Patricia Mesnard; sisters, Allison Rodick (Rick Rodick) and Melissa Eldridge; nieces, Madison and Sydney Rodick; brothers, Coty Eldridge and Josh Davis; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by grandparents James and Mildred Eldridge, and Francis Jones- Krouse and grandfather Harold Mesnard.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 2, 2018 from 4:00 pm until the time of a funeral service at 6:00 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, OH. Reverend Jim Cooper will officiate.
Private family burial with military honors conducted by the Vermilion Veteran's Council will take place at a later date in River Road Cemetery, LaGrange, OH.
