Dale Leonard Hunady, 75, of Vermilion, passed Monday, September 10, 2018 at after a lengthy illness.
Dale was born November 28, 1942 in Lorain, Ohio and had lived in Vermilion for the past 28 years moving from Lorain.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Marines.
Dale retired from American Crucible Products as a machinist. He was a member of AMVETS Post 22.
He enjoyed riding his Harley, Cleveland sports, especially the Browns, guns, fireworks, boating, hunting, fishing, and anything outdoors.
He is survived by his son, Mark Hunady of Amherst; former wife, Amelia Hunady of Amherst; step daughter, Terri (Michael) Bisgrove of Amherst; grandchildren, Jordan and Ed Capocasa; brother, Bill (Laverne) Hunady of Lorain; nephews, Patrick Gannon of Dublin, Ireland, Terrence (Julie) Hunady of Amherst, Thom Hunady of Columbus; nieces, Kate Wolf and Debra Gannon, both of Boise, ID; and numerous cousins of the Hunady and Oray family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Genevieve (nee Oray) Hunady; and his sister, Patricia Bardoner.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
