Louise E (Obrigewitsch) Hostetler, 98, of Wakeman, Ohio passed away March 28, 2019.
She was born to the late Frank and Rutheda Obrig, August 12, 1920 in Dickinson, North Dakota. Louise graduated from Wellington High School.
She was preceded in death by Gilbert Hostetler (1999), her husband of nearly 56 years. They moved to Wakeman in 1949 and called it home for the remainder of their lives. Louise is survived by sons Dave (Janet) of Virginia Beach, VA, Don of Vermilion, OH, and Bill (Debra) of Simpsonville, SC. She is also survived by four grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Howe Obrig of North Olmstead, OH. Brothers Vic and Bud preceded her in death.
Louise was a very talented artist and enjoyed water colors, acrylic painting, china painting, ceramics, cake decorating and just about any art form. She enjoyed square dancing and line dancing. She was a very giving person and enjoyed sharing her artwork and talents with family, friends and strangers. She made cookies for the veterans once a month. She was immensely proud of her family, and leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories.
She was a member of the Wakeman Congregational Church. Donations may be made to her church, the Wakeman library, or the American Heart Association in lieu of sending flowers.
