Kenneth Allen Stroud, 51, of Vermilion, died Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Mercy Regional Medical Center after a sudden illness.
He was born September 21, 1968 in Amherst and had been a life long Vermilion area resident.
Ken had worked for Great Escape Pools as a salesman for the past three years and he had worked at Danny Vegh's Billiards and Home before that.
Ken was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church, Vermilion. He enjoyed fishing, playing poker, and shooting pool. Ken had played on several pool leagues and went to Las Vegas every year to play in pool tournaments.
He is survived by his fiancée of 18 years, Georgia Marcum of Vermilion; parents, Deborah (nee Lothridge) and Joe Stroud, Sr. of Vermilion; sons, Patrick Martinez of Wooster, Zachary Stroud of Cleveland, Nathan Stroud of Vermilion, and Nicholas Stroud of Vermilion; daughter, Natalie Stroud of Vermilion; and his sister, Stacy Anderson of Amherst.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Joe Stroud; maternal grandparents, James and Charlotte Lothridge; and his paternal grandparents, John and Mary Josephine Stroud.
Private services will be held.
