James K. Flannery, 54, of Vermilion, passed away Monday, November 9, 2020 at his home after a lengthy illness.
He was born February 27, 1966 in Lorain and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 9 years moving from Berlin Heights.
James owned and operated JK Trucking and drove truck for over 20 years.
He was a member of the Vermilion Evangelical and Reformed Church and the B.A.A.N. C (Bikers Against Abuse and Neglected Children). He enjoyed fishing, playing Boom Beach, dinning out, watching the Cleveland Browns, and he especially enjoyed spending time with children and his dog, Jasper.
He is survived by his son, Brayson Flannery of Vermilion; daughters, Danielle Flannery and Sierra Flannery of Vermilion; sister, Deborah Hignett of Lorain and Jazzlyn Flannery of Lorain; and his best friends, Bill Linden, Tom Myers, and Ronnie O'Brien.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel E. and Vema (nee Dancy) Flannery; grandson, Owen Barker; and his sisters, Kimberly Ann Mignano and Cynthia Graver.
Private family services will be held.
