Obituary of Paul L. Rosin

Paul L. Rosin, 99, of Vermilion, died Monday, December 21, 2020 at Stein Hospice, Sandusky after a lengthy illness.


He was born November 7, 1921 in Cadott, WI and moved to Vermilion in 1966 from Flint, MI.


Paul was a veteran of the United States Army serving during WWII in the European Theater Operations.


He retired from E and L Transportation in 1983 where he had worked as a driver since 1959.


He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Vermilion, Ely Masonic Lodge #424, a life member of VFW #7576, a member of AMVETS Post 22, and the American Legion #397. He was a ham radio operator KC8LI, and a member of the American Radio Relay League, Sandusky. He working with computers, playing cards, and puzzles.


He is survived by his sons, Martin (Melanie) Rosin of Dover, Missouri and James Rosin of Ruskin, FL; daughters, Ruth Ann ( Roger) Crump of Lepeer Mi, Susan (Elgin) White of Clio, Mi, and Patricia Sulicki of New Orleans, LA; step sons, James Webb of Titusville, PA, and Gene Webb of West Lake; 14 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; and 4 step grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte M. Rosin (nee Wolfli); parents, Aaron and Naomi (Allen Romaniski) Rosin and a brother, David Rosin.


 Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at 10:00 am at Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain, with  Reverend Allison LeBrun  officiating.  Friends and family who want to come are welcome to attend, but due to Covid-19, we are asking that people be careful to maintain social distancing, wear masks, and refrain from embracing.


The family suggests memorial contributions to Grace United Methodist Church, 13406 West Lake Road, Vermilion, Ohio 44089.
