
Obituary of Charles P Hall
Charles P Hall Jr., 70, of Amherst, died Sunday, May 30, 2021 at Mercy Regional Medical Center after a short illness with COVID.
He was born October 2, 1950 in Lorain, OH and had been a Amherst resident for the past 16 years moving from New London.
Charles was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Vietnam Era.
He worked for Ford Motor Co., Lorain and had also worked at Ohio Rental in Vermilion.
Charles was a member of Harbourtown Community Church, Vermilion. He was a skilled woodworker, falling trees and turning them into beautiful masterpieces. He also enjoyed collecting marbles, going to auctions, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his brothers, Stephen (Teresa) Hall of Vermilion, Rick (Darlene) Hall of New London, and John Hall of Amherst; sisters, Linda (Allan) Krisher of Wakeman and Joyce (Jim) Cooper of Amherst; his good friend, Helen Sherman of Amherst; 11 nieces and nephews; and 18 great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles P. Sr. and Elizabeth Marie (nee Lowder) Hall.
Graveside services will be held Monday, June 7, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Rugby Cemetery, Brownhelm Twp. Rev. Jim Cooper will officiate and the Vermilion Veterans Council will conduct Military Honors.
