Obituary of David John Fandrich

David John Fandrich, 68, of Vermilion, died Monday, March 28, 2022 at his home after a lengthy illness.

He was born June 16, 1953 in Lorain, OH and had been a life long Vermilion resident.

David graduated from Vermilion High School and had worked as a mechanic for Charter Steel.

He enjoyed fishing, tinkering in his garage, and working with his sons.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Donna (nee Rader) Fandrich of Vermilion; mother, Charlotte (nee Shook) Fandrich; sons, Daniel Fandrich of Vermilion and Jason Fandrich of Vermilion; grandchildren, Nicole Crase and Lillian Fandrich; sisters, Cheryl (Neal) Nuwash of Austin, TX and Cindy Brown of Vermilion; and his nephews, Daniel Nuwash, Lawrence Nuwash, and Michael McCourt.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Fandrich; niece, Julie Ann McCourt; and his brother-in-law, William Brown.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 3, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Funeral services will be Monday, April 4, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Reverend Nick Cacciatore will officiate.
